In Cervic Environment, each of our steps is aligned with the commitment to a sustainable business project, betting on a circular economy business model.
These are some of the many actions we carry out to this end:
ECODESIGN
We apply in the products’s development, methodologies of Ecodesign and Finite Element Method in Engineering (FEM), obtaining environmentally friendly products, optimizing and minimizing the use of raw materials, maximizing the use of recycled materials, obtaining as a result sustainable products, which are highly durable and 100% recyclable at the end of their useful lives.

RECYCLED MATERIALS
Cervic Environemnt continually strives to maximize the use of recycled materials, under the fundamental requirement of maintaining the high quality, functionality and aesthetics that characterize our products.
The galvanized steel used to manufacture Cervic Environment’s products contains a minimum of 15% to 25% recycled material in its composition.
The recycled plastic used to manufacture Cervic Environment’s products comes from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics, free of toxins.
The Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) used to manufacture Cervic Environment’s products contains 50% vegetal recycled material (rice husks).
More and more of our products contain and are made from a greater amount of recycled materials, and we even have products that are 90% made from recycled materials.

NON-POLLUTING RENEWABLE ENERGY
When manufacturing the products, Cervic Environment has a SUSTAINABLE ENERGY SYSTEM (Photovoltaic Solar Installation) at its facilities that does not produce greenhouse gases or polluting emissions.

RECYCLABILITY
The products manufactured by Cervic Environment are totally recyclable at the end of their useful life. To facilitate proper recycling, they incorporate a QR code, which indicates each of the materials that make up the product, facilitating the selective separation at the end of the product’s useful life according to each type of material.

CORPORATE CARBON FOOTPRINT
We have an active plan to reduce our corporate carbon footprint across our facilities (offices, warehouses, and production centers). After years of investment and continuous efforts, Cervic Environment has systematically and significantly reduced its corporate carbon footprint, earning the official “Carbon Footprint Reduction Seal” issued by MITECO. Cervic Environment is registered in the Carbon Footprint Registry of the Spanish Office for Climate Change (Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge).

PRODUCT CARBON FOOTPRINT
At Cervic Environment, we calculate the carbon footprint of our products to understand and reduce their environmental impact.
This allows us to improve our processes and products, striving to create ever more sustainable products.

LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT (LCA)
At Cervic Environment, we carry out the Life Cycle Assessment of our products, with a comprehensive approach “Cradle to Grave”, in accordance with the guidelines of the ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards. We evaluate the environmental impact from the extraction of raw materials, through production, transport, and use, to the end of its service life and recycling. This process identifies opportunities for environmental improvement, moving towards more sustainable models.

GENERAL PRODUCTS SAFETY DIRECTIVE 2023/988
Cervic Environment’s products comply with Directive 2023/988 General Products Safety and have been developed under a management system which ensures that all relevant safety, health, and environmental protection considerations have been taken into account during the product design phase.

DIGITALIZATION
Cervic Environment is carrying out an ambitious project of digitalization of all its processes, with the aim of reducing the use of paper to a minimum, not only in the global management of internal processes (administration, sales and production), but also in commercial materials and those accompanying the products supplied (installation and maintenance instructions), where paper has been replaced by QR codes.

ZERO WASTE
All waste generated in Cervic Environment’s daily operations is collected in a segregated manner and treated by specialized waste management companies, to be recycled, reused or revalued.
