Zamora installs 300 new recycling bins in the center and in the old town

Zamora City Council, in collaboration with PreZero, has installed recycling bins manufactured by Cervic Environment on public roads. Specifically, 300 litter bins have been placed in the Downtown Area and Old Town. The objective of this measure is to facilitate the segregation of the different types of waste that are deposited in the busiest streets of Zamora.

These are metal bins of the model called Recycling Lisbon” from Cervic Environment for the segregation of waste, which create a recycling station of three elements with the symbols and colors identifying each type of waste: blue for paper and cardboard, yellow for plastics and packaging, and brown for organic waste.

Each semicircular Lisbon bin has a capacity of 40 liters and dimensions of 875 mm high, 425 mm wide and 215 mm deep, with a weight of 9.5 kilos, they can be installed on a line or on a circle to facilitate their use and minimize the impact depending on the space in which they are going to be installed. There will be a total of 300 bins that will be located in the busiest pedestrian area of ​​the city, between the Marina and the Plaza de la Catedral (Cathedral Square), configuring 100 recycling islands which sets of the three bins each.
