Biobin (aerated bin) chosen by the city of Vinkovci (Croatia) for the selective collection of organic waste in households.

The city council of the Croatian city of Vinkovci has acquired thousands of BIOBIN AERATED bins from Cervic Environment to make them available to citizens, thus helping raise awareness and promoting proper separation of organic waste generated in households.

Biobin is a 10-liter capacity, aerated bin with a flip-top lid and ergonomic handle that allows for the deposition and collection of organic waste generated in households, mainly in the kitchen, using a compostable bag placed inside.

Biobin is a perfect and hygienic solution for storing organic waste in households. The holes in the bin, along with the use of compostable bags, facilitate the transpiration of liquid contained in the stored organic matter (the waste remains under aerobic conditions while the bag is being filled), reducing the accumulation of leachate and unpleasant odors.

It incorporates a groove at the base to facilitate the emptying of the bin in a comfortable and safe manner.
